This year the annual Iyengar Yoga Association of Canada/Association Canadienne de Yoga Iyengar AGM will be held in London, Ontario. This year the theme is Harmony and also the celebration of 50 years since the release of Light on Yoga.
I've never been to London, so it will a first for me. I've been fortunate to travel to many new and interesting places and meet many wonderful people through my yoga journey and I am very appreciative.
Living in a more remote area from senior... teachers I am always grateful to attend workshop, classes and teacher training when I can.

I've added photos of the senior teachers that will be leading many of the sessions and the weekend outline.
IYAC/ACYI is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and governing the work of B.K.S. Iyengar in Canada. Many members are also board members, assessors for the yoga assessments or assessors in training. They will be there even earlier to take part in many more meeting and planning for the organization before the AGM even begins. This is all volunteer time. I currently am a regional representative for Saskatchewan and Manitoba. My duties are fairly minimal but I am happy to contribute when I can and also humbled by the amount of work many do.
So this little post is a thanks to the AGM coordinators and the many members at IYAC/ACYI that work so hard to keep this organization going as well as all the students who attend classes.
Namaste.
