June and July Classes

Celebrate International Yoga Day and Summer Solstice !!!

Before I share my upcoming classes I have to share the news about our new puppy Apollo🐶

Trying to pinpoint when the idea of getting another dog turned into us actually getting another dog is a bit difficult, but this is Apollo. He is a rescue puppy from Regina. He is cute and energetic and now part of our family of humans, cats and dogs.

I share not only because he is so adorable right now but also because it was one of those things that just seemed to work out how it worked out.  It did of course take a decision and some planning in a way, but in the end it was like it was meant to be.  I felt that right now this was what was meant to come into our lives because we were open to receiving him.  That is the gift yoga can bring...not just puppies :)...but being open and allowing whatever to come up to come up.  Not trying to change, resist or force, just breathing and being aware.

I hope you may have a chance to come to a few classes over the next few months.  I am offering Monday classes at the Anderson Community Center in Christopher Lake, as well as some classes at my studio.  The Saturday and Sunday classes are small groups of 3 or 4 and will run if have enough 1-2 days before.

June 21st will be the 6th annual International Yoga Day.  It is of course also Summer Solstice so a great day for yoga and celebrating the longest day!  The class is by donation and will be held in Christopher Lake. Please pre-register as numbers will help decide where the class will be located. I will introduce some essential oils into the class for rejuvenation and relaxation.

I will be teaching Tuesday classes in Prince Albert at the P.A. Arts Centre.
See posters below for details - I am teaching 2 creative movement and craft class for ages 3-5 and 6-9 as well as my Noon Yoga Class.

Please see the posters below for these upcoming classes and more information.

I have mentioned in the last few emails that I am preparing to attend my IJIII yoga assessment in November, 2019.  In the Iyengar certification program it is quite a lengthy process.  To prepare I will be heading to Edmonton in mid-June to do a mock assessment with my senior teachers and then in August to Victoria for a week of teacher training.  I could use your help though.  If 5 or 6 people were interested in being students for a mock assessment here that would be great.  It would take about an hour and a half.
Please email me if this is possible for you.

If I don't see you over the summer months, I hope you have a great summer and look forward to seeing you in the fall.  If you were interested in registering for the Peru Yoga Retreat - the early bird to save $300 is August 1st, 2019.  Please feel free to message me for more details on this wonderful retreat or any other classes.

Happy Summer!!
