February News

January has been an extremely busy and interesting month.  I taught a workshop in Saskatoon on one of the coldest weekends, so it was great to be inside with so many wonderful people exploring the joys of yoga.
The poster isn't quite ready yet, but I will be back in Saskatoon the April 13th & 14th weekend.

A few days after I headed to Edmonton to do some teaching in front of my senior teachers as I am preparing for my IJIII assessment in the coming year.  Always a bit stressful, but helpful feedback in my teaching and personal practice.  The weekend continued with an insightful workshop lead by Louie Ettling. She is the founder and director of The Yoga Space in Vancouver.  A wonderful senior teacher who shared so much depth and wisdom during the weekend.  Due to more extreme weather I ended up staying an extra night, but I had my daughter with me so was a fun adventure.  We had taken out some books on tape, I mean CD's,  to listen to on the long drive.  We were listening to Jurassic Park, and after 14 hours of driving we still have 4 cd's left!  I guess we need another road trip :)

Did you know Jurassic Park was built on an island off of Costa Rica?  I know fiction, but funny as in a few short weeks I will be heading to Costa Rica to lead a retreat and am lucky to have a nice group joining me. I say it is a journey and not an escape (although with the current weather it is a bit of both :)) as we are setting off for a Journey to the Centre of the Self. Hope we don't meet any dinosaurs!

I will be gone February 16th - 27th so all my classes will be cancelled during that time.  There are subs for some of my classes at Yoga Sublime so please check the schedule there to be sure.

Since I will be gone quite a bit of February I wanted to share with you some upcoming NEW classes and more great workshops and retreats.

I will be offering 3 new classes at a new location on Thursday's at Ballet n' All That Jazz.
A morning Motivate - All levels class, a Flow Noon class and a Yoga for Wellness in the afternoon.  Please check out the poster below.
Be sure to pre-register as classes need a minimum number to run.

March 10th, my friend Terra and I will be offering our second workshop/retreat day together to welcome spring.  Spring Cleaning of the Body and Soul.  A day of yoga, healthy lunch and learning the benefits of a spring detox and how to go about doing this.
We will be including a 5 day online support program after to help you feel your best!  Please see the poster below and register early!
