My brain likes that January ended on a Sunday :P... How about you? I also was happily surprised how many positive F-words I could find when doing a search :) - Flourish, Fun, Focus, Flexibility, Freedom, Feeling, Forward, Fortitude, Future are a few Favorites :):)
I am ending January with a relaxing day at home. I did put in a few hours of studying and preparing for upcoming classes, but time in my yoga room really is a privilege I am very grateful for.
January went by in a flash...really..and that includes 10 days not leaving my acreage. I was happy to start the new winter session at the beginning of January. It was a full month of weekly classes, free classes, classes for charity and the new open studio, plus yogi book club online meetings, Fun & Fluid classes, Weekly Wake-up and blogs. I also went out for the first time to an event at the Rawlinson yesterday for Parts for the Arts with the theme of Connections. It was very well planned and left me feeling renewed for a Fabulous February. I'll write more about this in an upcoming blog.
For now I will share a New Class for your heart, reminders for upcoming dates for Sunday Morning Peace Practice, Monday Free Facebook class, February Fun and Fluid and Thankful Thursday dates.
If you would like to join any of the weekly classes..please feel free to contact me for more information. Most online classes are recorded so you can redo a class or still take part if you miss the live time.
If any of the other classes interest you please let me know so I can send you the link prior to the classes. If you know anyone else that might be interested in joining classes please feel free to share this email or have them email me directly.

| Open Studio - Open Practice and as B.K.S. Iyengar would say Open Source. Yoga is to be shared! So far I have not had many join, but the time has been important. We have explored a few sequences with little guidance and played around with some different set-ups. The hour goes fast..If you would like to join one please let me know and I'll send the Zoom link. |

| Thankful Thursday is a Gentle/Restorative class. The class is meant to help each of you recuperate and rejuvenate and at the same time we are benefiting others. Thankful Thursday classes are by donation. February 4th - donations to the Prince Albert Neonatal Intensive Care Unit February 25th - donations to Prince Albert Mental Health

In about 2010 I started blogging. I really enjoyed it and have many great posts on yoga, yoga sequences, etc. there that you can check out. Yoga is one of those subjects that really is never outdated. When other Social Media started becoming more popular - Facebook and Instagram I stopped blogging as often, as there is only so much time in the day. Also, I had created a new website that also requires updating, etc. So...I had stopped blogging for awhile..but..2021 is a new year and I have decided to try and get back into blogging more when I can. Most recent posts have been on the current Yogi book club book - Bringing Yoga to Life by Donna Farhi.
